    Great stop to pick up some breakfast for a picnic at Fillmore Glen State Park.  We were going to the park for a hike and needed a quick fix and the friendly staff at the Gathering did it for us.  It is definitely a local establishment.  We were there on Memorial day and there were maybe three tables, and the staff knew the names of everyone in the restaurants except for ours.

    The food itself is decent, I had a bacon, sausage, eggs over easy on sour dough with cheddar.  The sandwich size is decent, and it tasted like...a breakfast sandwich, but the smaller town feel and the friendliness of the staff just made it taste better.

    Sat at the counter on a Sunday morning. Waited 15 minutes for a menu. While at the COUNTER. Another 15 to put our order in. Three waitresses, 0.75 knew what they were doing. Could see the chaos in the kitchen too. Only person who seemed to have a clue was the dishwasher. Another 15 minutes of waiting for eggs. 45 minutes in total, finally walked out without food. This was our second try as well. NEVER again.

    I was introduced to The Gathering through a friend, and I have been delighted to go there ever since. Weekend brunches are awesome and something to truly look forward to.
    Staff is kind and attentive without being bothersome. Always a friendly smile and acknowledgment when you walk through the door. Food is varied, typical American fare with the chef's special flair for creative twist on old favorites. Good people, good food, good times!

    Now called Glenside diner. Good diner food at very reasonable prices w good service. It loses a star only for the bad modern country music playing louder than can ignore. Currently only open till 2, 1 on Sundays. They have a fb to check hours and specials.

    Excellent fresh food (organic eggs, homemade toast), great and friendly service. We spent the night at Fillmore Glen camp site and came here for breakfast with the kids
